Who am I?
I’m Janet Hopkins. I bring passion and expertise to your Colorado real estate journey. My mission is to guide, advise and represent my clients through the buying or selling process with clear communication and precision to detail. I am also a licensed lender through American Liberty Mortgage. Whether you're looking to buy, sell or both, I am here to guide and help through every step of the process. I provide my clients with seamless transactions, prepared with loan knowledge and excellent negotiation skills.
While I’m relatively new to the real estate industry, my sales track record and client relationships reflect a strong foundation of success. I’ve represented buyers and sellers across a wide price range, from $250,000 to $1.3 million. And in every setting, from city condos and suburban homes to mountain properties and rural acreage across the Denver Metro Area and beyond. My clients have included first-time buyers, those leveraging equity to move into 55+ communities, and sellers navigating their first sale or making a move to upsize or downsize. No matter the goal, location or price point, I provide thoughtful guidance, tailored strategies, and full-service support every step of the way.
A bit about me personally: I moved to Colorado from Ohio in 2005 to begin a teaching career in Golden. While I’m not a Colorado native, I got here as fast as I could. The outdoor lifestyle and vibrant live music scene immediately won me over, and I knew I had found my home. In 2011, I met my husband at a live music event, and today we’re raising two wonderful little Hopkins together.
We bought our home in 2013, and I quickly fell in love with the entire buying process. From that moment on, I knew that if I ever transitioned out of education, real estate would be the next chapter. In May 2023, I took the leap and I’ve been loving every moment of it. Helping others navigate this life-changing journey has become my passion.
